MICE & Groups Sales Executive

Savoy Signature is a collection of unique hotels in Madeira, where heritage and innovation come together to create unforgettable experiences. We are currently seeking a MICE & Groups Sales Executive to join our dynamic Sales team and help us continue delivering excellence in group bookings and events across our seven properties.

 

Your Mission

You will be responsible for managing all group bookings of 10+ rooms and coordinating associated events — from pre-event planning to on-site execution and post-event follow-up. You will ensure smooth communication between clients and operational teams to guarantee a premium, consistent service aligned with Savoy Signature’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle MICE and Leisure group inquiries in line with business strategy and pricing guidelines.
- Coordinate proposals, quotations, contracts, pro forma invoices, and deposits.
- Manage room blocks and meeting space availability across all properties.
- Maintain updated records in the Events Management System and MICE platforms (e.g., Cvent, Casamentos.pt, ZankYou)
- Act as the key contact for clients before, during, and after events.
- Prepare detailed event briefs and instructions for operational teams.
- Conduct follow-ups, compile reports, and support internal sales meetings.
 - Assist with site inspections, up-sell hotel services, and gather client feedback.
- Represent the brand at sales calls, trade shows, and networking events (local and international).
- Collaborate closely with Sales leadership and operational departments.

What We’re Looking For


- Experience in MICE/group sales or event coordination, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with EMS and MICE platforms (e.g., Cvent, Hotelplanner) is a plus.
- Fluency in English (Portuguese and other languages are an advantage).
- Proactive mindset, solution-oriented and team player.
- Availability to travel for events and trade fairs when required.
